SANTO STEFANO DI QUISQUINA
Nel profondo entroterra agrigentino si allevano molti animali, si cura sapientemente la terra, ma in realtà si coltiva se stessi. Qui vive Lorenzo Reina, un pastore e scultore d’altri tempi. Nei diversi ettari di terreno da sempre appartenuti alla sua famiglia, ha creato il “Teatro di Andromeda”. Esso, contiene simbolicamente 108 sedili di pietra, come il numero di stelle di cui si compone la costellazione di Andromeda, proiettando così il magnifico riflesso notturno in quella creazione mozzafiato.

Un museo “ en plein air” con circa 60 installazioni disseminate in città. Il grande cretto di Burri, Carla Accardi, Mimmo Paladino, Mimmo Rotella, Emilio Isgrò, Turi Simeti etc.

SANTO STEFANO QUISQUINA
In the deep hilly hinterland of Agrigento, many animals are raised, people wisely take care of the land, but in fact they take care of themselves. Here lives Lorenzo Reina, a shepherd and sculptor from another time. On several hectares of land belonging to his family for generations, he created the “Theatre of Andromeda” which symbolically contains 108 stone seats, the number of stars that make up the Andromeda constellation, thus projecting the magnificent nightly reflection of that breathtaking creation.

An en plein air museum with about 60 installations scattered throughout the city by the great Cretto di Burri, Carla Accardi, Mimmo Paladino, Mimmo Rotella, Emilio Isgrò, Turi Simeti, etc.
